How to get connected with the BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox?
The BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox app on Blackberry gathers all of your messages in one location, including work and personal email, calendar invitations, chats, notifications from many social networking apps, and phone calls.
To get started, add an email account to the BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox or download a social networking or instant messaging app from the Google Play store to your device and then log in to your account.
You can add a widget to your home screen so that you don’t have to open the BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox app to see your latest messages, search for a message, or compose a message. To add the BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox widget, tap Widgets Touch and hold Huband then, when the home screen appears, release your finger.

How to add accounts to the Blackberry Hub + Inbox?
You can add almost any email account to the BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox including your personal and work email accounts. The BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox also supports social accounts such as Facebook and Twitter. You can add an email account using quick setup
If you’re using a popular email provider like Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail, you can add your email account to the BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox quickly and easily.
- In the BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox tap the vertical three lines and then tap + sign beside accounts
- Now Type your email address and Tap Next
- Complete the instructions on the screen.
You can add an email account with manual setup
Depending on the email provider you use, you might have to manually set up your email account in the BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox. You might also need to use manual setup if your email provider or administrator uses a specific email configuration.
With manual setup, you can add a POP3, IMAP, or Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync account. If you don’t know what type of email account you have, contact your email provider.
You can add a POP3 or IMAP email account
When you set up a POP3 or IMAP account, you must enter some server and configuration settings. To find the server and configuration settings that your email account uses, contact your email provider.
In the BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox again tap the three vertical lines and tap plus sign beside the accounts.
Type your email address and then Tap Manual setup Tap your email account type: POP3 IMAP
On the Incoming server settings screen, enter the following info:
- In the Password field, enter your email account password.
- In the Server field, enter your email provider’s server address.
- In the Port field, enter the port number.
- If necessary, in the Security type drop-down list, select a security type and Tap Next
On the Outgoing server settings screen, enter the following info:
- In the SMTP server field, enter your email provider’s SMTP server address.
- In the Port field, enter the port number.
- If necessary, in the Security type drop-down list, select a security type.
- In the Password field, enter your email account password and Tap Next
- On the Account settings screen, review or change any of the settings and Tap Next.
- Optionally, change the display name or display color for your email account and Tap Done

You can add a Microsoft Exchange Active Sync email account
When you set up a Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync account, you must enter some server and configuration settings. To find the server and configuration settings that your email account uses, contact your email provider.
- In the BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox tap the three vertical lines and then tap plus sign beside the accounts.
- Type your email address the Tap Manual setup and tap Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync
On the Server settings screen, enter the following info:
- In the Password field, enter your email account password.
- In the Server field, enter your email provider’s server address.
- In the Port field, enter the port number.
- If necessary, in the Security type drop-down list, select a security type and tap Next
- On the Account settings screen, review or change any of the settings and tap next
- To find the server and configuration settings that your email account uses, contact your email provider.
You can also Remove an email account from the BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox
- In the BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox tap the settings icon
- Go to the Accounts & views section, tap Manage accounts.
- Tap the account that you want to remove and tap on bin
You can also add a social networking account to the BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox
The BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox supports a number of social networking accounts such as Facebook and Twitter. Supported social networking accounts are automatically added to the BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox when you download and sign in to the social networking app on your device.
You can also remove a social networking account from the BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox
In the BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox tap on settings and then go to accounts and views section and tap Manage accounts. Tap the social networking account that you want to remove. Also Turn off the Show messages switch and you are done.
